# TL;DR

You —human— did not pay taxes in the jungle. You started paying taxes when you started living in society. You gave *Them* the power to rule you and *They*, by ruling you, started charging you. First for doing this or that (also for minting money); but, at a certain point, to develop their ideologies to remain in power. If you could go back to the jungle you would stop paying taxes. But there is no jungle left on your planet out of Big Brother's sight. Your only way out (apart from Mars) is to migrate to the jungle of chained ones and zeros that is the blockchain. Of course you don't <mark style="color:green;">do</mark> it because you don't believe it's possible; and you don't <mark style="color:green;">believe</mark> it's possible because you don't <mark style="color:green;">think</mark> it's possible. Making good the argument that [only those who attempt the absurd are capable of achieving the impossible](https://quoteinvestigator.com/2015/02/21/impossible/).&#x20;

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://anarchosatoshi-disorganization.gitbook.io/wtf/on-dextaxation/tl-dr.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
